The children's author David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Acclaimed writer for children and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the decision was made after an investigation into reports of questionable actions involving female individuals.
The publisher declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We refrain from speaking about internal matters."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages.

To date, he has released in excess of 40 works combined, which features a Christmas book called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
A Dual Career

He was made an OBE several years ago honoring his contributions to charity and the arts.
This development follows the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive this past October.
